We recently welcomed an incredible 157 teams from schools across Sydney, New South Wales and the ACT to the 2026 NSW Knox da Vinci Decathlon. We thank all participants and accompanying staff for joining us from 12-14 May in the Great Hall and for contributing to such a positive and intellectually vibrant atmosphere.
Knox Grammar School
The Knox da Vinci Decathlon provides students with the opportunity to collaborate across a diverse range of ten disciplines, including Art and Poetry, Cartography, Creative Production, Engineering, English, Science, Mathematics, Ideation, Legacy and Code Breaking. Alongside these rigorous and creative challenges, students enjoyed live performances from our talented student musicians, as well as MC and Knox History teacher Mr Leggo’s fantastic dance performances.
We extend our congratulations to all participating schools, and to the following teams who placed first overall in their year groups in the NSW State Round:

The theme for this year’s State Competition was ‘Machines and Mechanics’, while the theme for Nationals is ‘Artificial Intelligence’.
We look forward to welcoming all finalists back to the Great Hall on Saturday 27 June for the National Finals.
