The quality of our teaching continues to be the number one reason families choose to send their child to Knox.
Knox Grammar School
A recent survey of parents who are new to the School asked them about the reasons they chose Knox.
“We chose Knox for the quality of teachers, the focus on doing your best and becoming a life long learner.”
Of the approximately 250 parents who responded to the survey, 99.6% rated ‘Teaching Quality’; as 4 or 5 (out of five) as a factor in choosing the School.
The other most important factors included our student wellbeing, the School’s Positive Psychology and pastoral care program; providing a well rounded education; our School’s values; and student spirit and culture.
“We are looking forward to a more focused classroom experience, quality teaching, HSC expertise, mentoring and a culture where students and staff seek success and expect to do well.”
Parents also provided feedback on the Enrolment process.
“Knox was so welcoming when we applied and made us feel like our family and our son mattered and were not nearly a number and application. We will always remember this and it is our belief that this is the way of Knox - welcoming, accommodating and nurturing, while providing a sound education for our son.”
“Deciding which school to send your child is one of the most discussed topics I’ve had as a parent. Throughout the last 10 years of discussions with friends, past and present boys I have only heard good things. The most important of which was... no matter what you’re interests are, how shy or outgoing you are, you will find your tribe at Knox.”
The School is experiencing very high demand for places, with waiting lists for many year groups in the years ahead. We encourage you to apply early to secure a place for your child.
