What a weekend to finish the 2026 summer sport season!
Knox Grammar School
The Black and Blue ended on a high, with outstanding results across every sport and incredible energy from our students as we head into winter.
For our Year 12 boys, it was a special milestone – their final summer fixture at Knox. A huge congratulations to everyone involved!
Our Basketball 1sts and 2nds secured strong wins over Cranbrook, with the 1sts finishing 3rd overall.
Cricket had a brilliant weekend too, with both teams winning at Curagul and our 1sts claiming the CAS Championship for the first time since 2016, and the 16th time Knox has won the Archer Shield. Knox also recently won the CAS T20 competition, completing a rare double.
Golf wrapped up a smooth season by taking out the CIS Premiership, while our Mountain Biking team made history by winning the inaugural Independent Schools title last weekend.
At Homebush, our Table Tennis 1sts defeated The Scots College to become CIS Champions. Tennis also shone brightly, with both the 1sts and the 2nds winning against Cranbrook School and the 1sts securing their fifth consecutive CAS Summer Premiership.
Volleyball dominated with wins to 1sts and 2nds, and an incredible undefeated season for the 1sts, not dropping a single set on their way to the CAS Championship.
Water Polo 1sts and 2nds faced tough competition from Newington College, with both teams finishing the CIS season in 3rd place.
A memorable end to an incredible summer season — and an exciting lead into Winter 2026.
Go the Black and Blue!

Our senior students recently gathered for the 2026 Knox Careers Insight Evening. The evening opened with a powerful keynote from Aden Mann (OKG10), who challenged students to think differently about their futures and the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Drawing on his own journey since graduating from Knox in 2010, Aden shared practical advice on career adaptability and lifelong learning.
