History made! 19 records broken at CAS Swimming and Diving Championships
Spurred on by our mighty Tartan Army of supporters saw our students achieve a great feat last night at the 94th CAS Swimming and Diving Championships. Knox CAS Swimming Team were Awarded the Thyne Challenge Shield for the ninth year running. Our Diving team also gave an outstanding performance, coming second overall.

It was a record-breaking night for Knox, with our students achieving 41 wins from 77 races and breaking 19 new CAS records in swimming.

In swimming, Knox finished first with a score of 569 points, while in Diving, the Knox team finished second overall on 41 points, just three points behind Trinity Grammar School.
These achievements are a remarkable accomplishment for our hard-working swim and dive teams, as well as our dedicated coaches and support crew.

On the weekend, our top Chess players continued their solid run in Chess competitions this year by securing first place in the Secondary Open NSW ASTC Playoffs. In December, Harvey (Year 8), Lucas (Year 8), Ethan (Year 9), Richard (Year 9), Savin (Year 10) and Ralph (Year 12) will represent Knox Grammar School and New South Wales at the Finals in Melbourne.

On Saturday 6 September, team ‘Molten Ice’ achieved first place in the 2025 ProgComp Grand Final. This High Schools Programming Competition is powered by ‘cupcake’, an initiative of the UNSW School of Computer Science and Engineering.
