Year 11 students from Abbotsleigh and Knox (hence the name ‘ABBOX’) recently gave up the first few days of their school holidays to care for the camp participants.
The aim of the camp, which is supported by the Sony Foundation, is to provide friendship, activities and fun for children with physical or intellectual disabilities. Over the five days of the camp, the kids and volunteers stay on-site in the Knox Boarding House, providing the parents of the camp participants with a break and some important respite care.
