
Two Knox Year 11 students, Ben Dempsey and Angus Laurie, have represented Australian as members of the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Team at in the Vitaly Scherbo Invitational Event in Las Vegas.

Angus won the Level 9 U16 Division with first place results in floor, rings, vault and high bar, second place in pommel and a fifth place on the parallel bars.
Ben placed second in the Level 9 U16 Division, with equal first place in the pommel and high bar and third place in the floor, rings and parallel bars.
In addition, the Australian Level 9 U16 Australian team won first place overall in the team event.
“Overall the competition was a whole new experience and really gave me a new perspective on the competitive nature of men's gymnastics on a global scale,” said Ben.

Our senior students recently gathered for the 2026 Knox Careers Insight Evening. The evening opened with a powerful keynote from Aden Mann (OKG10), who challenged students to think differently about their futures and the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Drawing on his own journey since graduating from Knox in 2010, Aden shared practical advice on career adaptability and lifelong learning.
