Knox Supports the CAS Announcement on Combined Rugby Competition for 2025
Knox Grammar School supports the recent joint statement from the General Committee of the Associated Schools of NSW (CAS) and the Board of the Independent Sporting Association (ISA) regarding the new competition format for the 2025 Rugby season.
Knox Grammar School
This format change is the result of significant feedback and consultation with schools, with a view to creating the best possible environment for our rugby players.
The new format will see CAS and ISA schools compete for their respective association competitions throughout Term 2 and will then combine to play in a graded inter-association competition during Term 3.
CAS and ISA have the full support of NSW Rugby Union in making this change and look forward to this exciting new competition format.

On the weekend, our top Chess players continued their solid run in Chess competitions this year by securing first place in the Secondary Open NSW ASTC Playoffs. In December, Harvey (Year 8), Lucas (Year 8), Ethan (Year 9), Richard (Year 9), Savin (Year 10) and Ralph (Year 12) will represent Knox Grammar School and New South Wales at the Finals in Melbourne.

On Saturday 6 September, team ‘Molten Ice’ achieved first place in the 2025 ProgComp Grand Final. This High Schools Programming Competition is powered by ‘cupcake’, an initiative of the UNSW School of Computer Science and Engineering.
