On Wednesday 17 September, the Year 12 students had a nostalgic morning, as they walked through the gates of Knox Preparatory School.

Together, they shared breakfast, enjoyed a guided tour, and heard from leaders of the Prep School during an outdoor assembly.
“You didn’t do anything by halves,” said Sarah Beaumont-Jones (Team Leader at Prep), to the Class of 2025. “You really went the whole way, and you brought us so much joy in doing so. It really is so wonderful to see the young men you’ve grown into. You are young men of character, and we can see that in the conversations that you had with your teachers. You are calm, and you have integrity and passion.”
In the sun, they enjoyed various games and activities with the current Year 6 students across Ireland and Yeldham Fields. This was followed by an assembly in the Inquiry Hub, where they each read a personalised letter from a Year 6 student, and heard from Phillip (Year 6), the Prep Captain of 2025, and Saxon (OKG25), the 2019 Prep Social Justice Captain.
Headmaster Scott James said in his address, “Before the first Back to the Prep I attended, I had no idea of the impact the morning had on the boys. And now I see it every single year. This morning gives you an opportunity to reminisce and reflect, and that's so important in life. Because you really gain a great appreciation of the journey that you have been on when you reflect.”
The Kindergarten students gave the Class of 2025 a farewell musical performance and the morning concluded with singing the School Song one last time at the Prep School.
To the Class of 2025, we wish you all the best in the HSC, and in your upcoming adventures. We look forward to seeing the positive impacts you’ll make in the future.

Our senior students recently gathered for the 2026 Knox Careers Insight Evening. The evening opened with a powerful keynote from Aden Mann (OKG10), who challenged students to think differently about their futures and the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Drawing on his own journey since graduating from Knox in 2010, Aden shared practical advice on career adaptability and lifelong learning.
